for sale is a vintage 1978/79 Ovation/Kaman Music Academy KA14 Acoustic Guitar.  This experimental guitar was derived by Ovation and Kaman Music to build a sound board that contained no wood.  The entire top including the soundboard, braces and binding is made of plastic. Actually the only wood on the guitar is the bridge.  The plastic is made of high density and made to mimic the vibration of a wooden top.  The neck is plastic and the fret board is aluminum.  Great collectors guitar or the ultimate porch/camping/beach and boating guitar.  If it rains or gets wet, no problem.  Good action and enjoyable to play.  Free Pickup from Bradenton, Florida 34209 or shipping arrangements can be made.
